CAN YOUR NAIL SHAPE REALLY DESCRIBE YOUR PERSONALITY?

If your nails could talk, what would they say about you? Are you a trendy gal who wears nails shaped like almonds or stilettos? Or maybe you prefer to wear your nails more traditional in the shape of a square or rounded. Whatever your style may be, some believe that the way our nails are shaped is a direct link to our personalities.

In an article published on higherperspective.com, they identified nine types of nails and the personality traits associated with them. There were four types that stood out:

• The long nail lovers are seen as romantic, a perfectionist, detail-oriented and a people person.
• The “round-egg” nail or oval nail wearers are seen as happy-go-lucky, calm, different, independent and in touch with self.
• The square nail are brave spirits, persons with leadership qualities, and are stern but fun-loving.
• The almond nail are worn by those who maintain integrity, are loyal, well-mannered, friendly, and have the ability take on challenges.

Keep in mind these descriptions are based on beliefs and theories and they were derived based on a personality test in Japan, so these characteristics may not be true for some.
