Your Guide to Rocking the Hottest Election Nail Fashion:

The race to the Oval Office is in full effect. Find out how to Rock the Vote, while sporting some of the hottest nail art trends. We’ve decided to place our own spin on this year’s Presidential Election by creating a few amendments of our own. Here are our Top Nail Amendments for the 2016 Election:
Patriot Amendment:
This amendment seeks to make it a universal law to Paint the Town Red, White and Blue year-round. That’s right, so often we limit patriotic nails for Holidays like Independence Day, Veteran’s Day, Memorial Day or even Labor Day. Wouldn’t it be great to sport the colors all year long? Patriotic Pride is always trendy, so this amendment prevents this from being just a seasonal trend.
Freedom of Design Amendment:
This amendment seeks to make it acceptable to exercise your freedom of speech without the repercussions of public opinion. Nails art are absolutely a reflection of your creativity and should not be subjected to always being politically correct. If you’re With Her, Feeling the Bern or simply undecided, allow your nail art this election season to speak for you at the polls.
Choice Act Amendment:
We all have the choice to decide our fate. Your nail fate, that is. This amendment secures your constitutional right to choose the type of nail shape design you can rock. Coffin nails should not just be for the wild and adventurous, they too have a respected place in the law offices and hospitals around the world! Whether you’re a Rounded, Square, Stiletto, Oval or Edgy kind of person, let the choice be yours.
Amendment 20.16:
This amendment is the Most Important. It seeks to spread love not hate, to be respectful not rude, and to treat others with kindness in such a heated election season. America is not a combination of Red States vs. Blue States. We are and will always be The UNITED States of America. Get out and Rock the VOTE!

Beauty and Vinegar Please!
Nail Tricks and Tips
If there was a guideline and trick to everyday beauty products on the market it would make our lives 10 times easier right? Well brace yourselves, I may have found what you’ve been looking for! We all get excited to paint our nails in hopes that it will last for a lifetime but that’s just not reality. No biggie, maybe it’s time for a polish change anyway right? But if you’re like me and you have that go to red color that makes every outfit you wear look bomb (like Femme Fatale click here to check it out!) you might not want to change your color at all.
We have found one simple thing you need to do. Use vinegar! Yes, vinegar is actually a great home remedy you can use to make sure your polish stays fresh and long lasting. Vinegar helps to remove any product buildup or natural oils on your nail beds and it helps the polish come on smoother.
2 Things needed:
- White Distilled Vinegar
- Q-Tips
Quick 5 Steps:
- Start off with bare clean nails.
- Take the vinegar and pour a cap size amount into the top.
- Swab the vinegar on with a Q-tip. I would refrain from using cotton balls since they tend to leave more stray fibers that can get stuck in the polish easily!
- Once your nails dry, apply base coat. Base coats are VERY IMPORTANT before applying the polish! Just look it as the root of a tree. If a tree has a strong foundation beneath the surface it will sustain much longer than one that doesn’t.
- Use your desired nail lacquer color! If you need choices feel free to check out our 14 vegan- friendly colors here at www.ivkulture.com

Martinis and Mascara
I adore both of these brights! Margarita Time is a vibrant classic red and Miami Vice is a shimmering orange with golden flecks. I chose to wear a design featuring the two together, but I think they would look stunning on their own if a solid mani is more of your thing.
